Taft Avenue is closed north of Eisenhower Blvd for intersection construction during the months of May through July, 2025.

To get here from the south, turn north on Westshore Drive, drive past the 'road closed' signs, and turn west after the first house to go through the Village alley. From the north on Taft, you'll need drive past a few separate sets of 'Road Closed' signs, then speak to the road flaggers at the final 'Road Closed' signs near 18th St. Tell them you need to get to the 'laser shop'. They should direct you to turn east on Westshore Drive, and you can access through the Village alley just south of 15th Street. Please save/screenshot the map above if you'd like a visual aid. Sorry for the hassle, but I'm working with what I've got. :) We're close to completion!
6/23/25 Update:
- We have a new curb and median in place, and crews are working to get Eisenhower/Hwy34 fully open by this Friday to alleviate traffic during the upcoming holiday. Taft Ave should be reopened around the end of July. They will be paving in July. The new sidewalk is coming soon should be about 8 feet wide (it was only 4 feet).
6/27/25 Update:
- Eisenhower is now open 2 lanes in each direction! This will help to alleviate increased traffic during the upcoming holiday weekend.
- Crews are to begin pouring the new 8-foot wide sidewalks starting on Monday June 30th, and paving should begin on Taft this coming week as well.
- I'll be open June 30th through July 2nd next week (Monday through Wednesday)
- Loveland is not celebrating the 4th of July this year (no fireworks), and I am driving to a wedding in Idaho that weekend, so the shop will be closed July 3rd-7th.
- I'll be open Tuesday and Wednesday the 8th and 9th, and then I will be closed again July 10th-13th.
- I'll be back to my normal Monday through Friday office hours starting July 14th.
- Eisenhower is back to one lane in each direction while they mill and repave from Westshore to Wendy's again.
- Taft Avenue north of 34 has it's first layer of asphalt! The next and final layers are going down Friday the 11th and Saturday nights from 8pm to 5am.
- The asphalt transition from the new 8 foot sidewalks to my parking lot went in yesterday.
- Taft Ave may be open by the end of next week.
- Reports are the entire project is on pace for completion by the end of July.
- Paving is set to resume on Taft tomorrow. Striping on Monday means the road should be completely open early next week!
